Cheryl Jansen defeats VIP sponsor Garret McNally of Mac's
In a week where many Pigskin competitors struggled to achieve a .500 in their Pick' Em ballot, Cheryl Jansen of Daniel Island posted an impressive 11-1 record to defeat VIP sponsor Garret McNally of Mac's, who finished 5-7.
"What a nice surprise!" said Jansen via email. "I started watching and going to NFL games to follow my favorite college football players. This season, I decided to try Pick’ Ems since I know most of the teams."
Jansen, who won a $50 gift certificate to Mac's, has been a resident of Daniel Island for more than two decades.
"I’ve been living on the Island for 25 years," she said. "My husband, Mark, and I have three girls. Two of my three daughters were born on DI (technically MP), but know only here as home."
