Football Pick'em - Super Bowl Week

Joe Hinske is the winner of the NFL Championship round of the Pigskin Challenge. Joe was one of three players to correctly pick five statistical leaders and scores for the NFL championship games. He won in the tiebreaker to beat Drs. Jackson and Basha and wins a $50 gift card.

Joe and his wife, Nikki, moved to Daniel Island in 2004. He is the managing partner of Legare Bailey Hinske CPA and has two boys, Ryan (13) and Jack (10). Joe is active in the community, coaching youth football.

“I play Pick-‘Em because football is my favorite sport and I enjoy the competitiveness of Pick-‘Em and fantasy football,” Joe wrote in an email.

Since this past September, readers were given the opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor” and to win great prizes. This is the last week to play as the Atlanta Falcons take on the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. To be eligible to win, you must select your entries online by noon on Friday. There is no cost to enter. If you’d like to be added to our eblast, please send your email address to sdetar@thedanielislandnews.com.

To enter this week, go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/K6S5HW5 and fill out your ballot.

Each week, we’ve kept a running win-loss record for each of our sponsors and the paper will donate $500 to the charity of choice of the sponsor who has the best overall win-loss record after the Super Bowl.

In the last few weeks, we’ve had a shake up in the sponsor race. This week, Jeff Burton & Steve Meyer of Millennium Private Wealth moved in to first place with a one-point lead over Rosie Stieby of Daniel Island Real Estate. The Brookes Family/South State Mortgage and Drs. Jackson and Basha of Daniel Island Dental Group are two-points back and tied for third.

This week is your opportunity to beat Paul Conway of Tiencken Conway, LLC for an opportunity to win a $50 gift card to Laura Albert’s.
