Iron Horse B team rides high in dominant season

With a perfect 8-0 record, the Philip Simmons High School football B team continues its torrid run through the 2025 season, having outscored its opponents 312 to 56, with two games remaining.

“Our B team’s success so far this season reflects the hard work and dedication of both players and coaches,” said football coach Eric Bendig. “It also speaks to the talent in the area. If this group stays together and continues to work hard every day through their time at Philip Simmons, they’ll build on an already strong football program we have here and achieve great things on the field. We also hope they continue to grow in our program as not only talented players but the best young men they can become for our community.”

The team faces West Ashley High School on Oct. 22 at home and plays its last regular-season game at Colleton County on Oct. 29.
