John Horn beats Mingledorff and Patterson

John Horn almost nabbed a perfect score in last week’s Pigskin Pick’em by going 11-1 and beating sponsors Chris Mingledorff and Michael Patterson of Mingledorff & Patterson Attorneys at Law, who had a score of 6-6.
Horn won the tiebreaker against another contestant to win the $50 gift card to the New York Butcher Shoppe.
“I was told I had to pick a favorite between Clemson and USC, but I have many friends on both sides of the fight and have managed to remain neutral,” Horn said via email. He remains a Nebraska Cornhusker fan.
Horn moved to Daniel Island in 2020 from Nebraska.
“I saw the contest (while) reading the newspaper after moving to DI in 2020 and decided to try it out,” John wrote.
“Everywhere I have eaten on Daniel Island has been great, so if I won, I knew I would enjoy the prize. The New York Butcher Shoppe is no exception.”
