Jon Cassella conquers Colby Hollifield, wins gift card to Mpishi

Jon Cassella takes the win this week with an 11-1 score, beating Colby Hollifield with the Daniel Island Ferry who scored 8-4.

Cassella and his wife Leah moved to Charleston last June from Pennsylvania. They are big Penn State fans. “I’m very excited that our Nittany Lions will be in the Rose Bowl this year (thank you South Carolina!),” wrote Cassella via email.

“I’ve been playing Pigskin Pick ’Em for most of this year as I enjoy the competition,” Cassella wrote. “My wife won earlier this year and I have been doing all I can to get a W for myself. She has the good looks of our marriage, but I can’t let her have the Pigskin title to herself as well!”

Each week between now and the Super Bowl, readers have the opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor” and to win great prizes. Want to play? Sign up to have the games emailed to you each week by emailing katherine@thedanielisland
