Patti Bianco defeats Nancy Crick, wins gift card to Laura Alberts

Patti Bianco, a retired court reporter from Rhode Island, is this week’s winner of the Football Pick ’Em. Bianco’s score of 10-2 easily slid by Nancy Crick with Carolina One’s score of 6-6.

Bianco and her husband moved to Daniel Island a little more than 10 years ago. The recent weather was a gentle reminder as to why they made the move.

“I play Pigskin Pick ’Em because I enjoy the competition with the guys,” Bianco said. “Where they use things like analytics and weather, I use my gut feeling. I am not saying my way is better, but I have prevailed and my husband has not.”

Each week between now and the Super Bowl, readers have the opportunity to “Beat the Sponsor’’ and to win great prizes.
